Birthday Girl
Today is my 28th birthday!
I’m not really sure what to think about that.
My dear husband is at work pumping out Java like it’s going out of style. We’re going to Jacksonville, FL in just a few days for 4th of July weekend! Matt and Jane are having their wedding reception on a fancy boat. I’m sure Jane will have it decorated to the tilt. I’m looking forward to spending some time with them and meeting new people. Also, since we’ll be on the river, we’ll be able to see fireworks going off on all sides! It’s going to be excellent!
Down side today is waking to find that my frog, Citizant Squish, has passed away. 
He was a good frog.
Another crappy bit of my day was when I found that one of my cats (not sure which) used my basket of fresh, clean towels as a litter box. I am not happy about that. Not only is it absolutely disgusting, it’s just rude!
Up side? I got phone calls from my Mom and my Aunt. 
My Mom sent me a really nice candle that smells the way I imagine Heaven smells, and some cash to buy myself something special with. It’s hard to shop for a 28 year old woman lol. My Auntie Ne` sent me an awesome new tote with little skateboards all over it, decorated with stars and peace signs. It’s really colorful and cute! It’ll go great with my favorite green dress and pink sandals.
I got carded for cigarettes at the 7-eleven. The woman handed my license back to me without a word, so I said, “You’re not even going to wish me a Happy Birthday?”. WTH? If you ask for someone’s ID, pay attention! Okay, so I’m reaching and begging for a little attention. Sue me. 
It’s my BIRTHDAY!
