I had a very unproductive day today due to a splitting headache.  I still managed to walk Giles, Brady and J.D. though.  Tomorrow is going to be a better day.  I have a few big ticket items that I need to take care of before Adam and I hit the road to West Virginia on Thursday for Andy and Allison’s wedding.  If anyone feels like calling to remind me to do these 3 things, please feel free:

1.  Finish the Thank You notes

2.  Send in the money for the Penna Turnpike toll

3.  Write the letter to Artillary Ridge and ask them to pay the medical bill

After I finish with those tasks I really need to call Toll Brothers and let them know what’s going on around here, then pack for WV.  I’m hoping I’ll be up to all this tomorrow.  Right now I’m sick as a dog and sweating like a bullfrog.

I did go to orientation for Basic Obidience today.  Mr. Giles and I will be attending A Click Above in Leesburg throughout Semptember.  I’m really excited!  The orientation covered mostly what I know from my own research and reading, but putting clicker training into continuous practice will be great for Giles.  We’ve tried it before.  I just wasn’t interested enough to continue.  Now that I know Giles better though it should be a breeze (not really, but think positive!).  Also, I volunteered to ‘work for M&M’s’ tonight.  Basically, I was the dog.  The instructor ’shaped a behavior’ with me, the clicker, and the M&M’s.  Her goal was to get me to pick up her dog’s leash and take it for a walk.  Well, even though she said I was a great dog… haha…. it still took a while to even get me to touch the leash.  My hard work paid off though!  I won a new toy for Mr. Giles!  He’s a very happy puppy.  And I’m a very tired one.
